If you find yourself in the sunny landscape of Palm Desert, Wonder is a delightful café you won't want to miss. Nestled alongside the bustling Highway 111, this charming eatery is a local gem that offers both a cozy atmosphere and a tantalizing menu that captures the essence of casual dining at its best.

Wonder caters to breakfast and lunch lovers alike, offering a splendid range of choices that promise to please every palate. Start your day with the Full English Breakfast ($25.00), a heartwarming plate that brings a taste of tradition, complete with sizzling bacon and perfectly cooked eggs. If you prefer a lighter option, the Avocado Toast ($12.00) presents a refreshing adaptation topped with fresh ingredients, an essential item for health-conscious diners. For a brunch experience that’s nothing short of indulgent, don’t skip the French Toast ($15.00)—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and drizzled with a lovely syrup that beckons you for more.

As lunchtime rolls around, consider diving into their California Club ($16.00) or the zestful Bombay ($14.00) sandwich, both crafted with attention to flavor and quality. Each bite is bursting with freshness, making your midday escape from the everyday feel truly special. The café also boasts a choice of Fresh Salads, such as the Chopped Chicken ($16.00) or Southwest Steak ($16.00), perfect for those looking to savor something crisp and wholesome.

The ambiance at Wonder is as enticing as its food. Customers are greeted by a warm, airy setting brimming with natural light and cute decor that invites you to linger a little longer. Emily Reyes, a first-time visitor, expressed her delight, stating she was "blown away" by the flavorful breakfast sandwich and the "beautifully made" Cinnamon Toast Crunch doughnut. Indeed, every detail at Wonder adds up to an experience that feels both personal and memorable. The staff here go above and beyond, as shared by Sammy Calhoun, who appreciated the thoughtful touches, like mini utensils for children.

Though the café can get bustling, especially during peak hours, Elizabeth Lindburg’s experience highlights the friendly employees who enhance the visit, proving that the wait is well worth it. Plus, there's something charming about the small, close-knit feel of the space that makes it ideal for a meeting or a date, as noted by Scott Hendrickson.

Wonder is more than just a café; it's a community hub where delightful food, cheerful service, and a cozy atmosphere converge to create a wonderful dining experience that captures the spirit of Palm Desert living. Whether you’re a breakfast aficionado or a lunch lover, Wonder beckons with open doors and an inviting smile, hoping to make your day a little brighter.

I finally checked out Wonder after hearing so many amazing recommendations and it absolutely lived up to the hype! It was my first time visiting, and I was blown away. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was loaded with deliciousness, every bite was full of flavor and super satisfying. I also got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch doughnut, and not only was it beautifully made, but it tasted just as good as it looked! You can really tell they put love into everything they make. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Cute and so delicious! Employees were nice and friendly, I definitely recommend! However, they don’t offer a lot of seating and food can take a while so it got pretty crowded. Food was worth it!

Came in last Saturday afternoon. such a cute place, very airy atmosphere! Ordered an iced chai latte, an oat milk capp and the loaded hashbrowns. Chai was nice and flavorful, coffee was good as well. Loaded hashbrowns were yummy, if a bit simple, nice to split between a few people as a snack.

Just a fun little coffee shop with really good food and a great location if you are on Highway 111 or live in Palm Desert. I really enjoyed the iced coffee I got and I don't remember when I have ever had better hash browns. Perfect spot for an meeting or a date.

Everything about this place was delicious! I got the mushrooms, egg and cheese sandwich with French toast and I HIGHLY recommend! The environment was so so cute and very welcoming. Probably my new favorite restaurant in the WHOLE valley! 100% worth it.

Perfect spot for breakfast/brunch! Service was helpful, quick, and thorough! We enjoyed the special, a ham and Swiss croissant sandwich, as well as the avocado toast. Both were generous portions and tasted delicious! The fresh juice was a treat and lattes were perfect. The big straw was a cute touch. We’ll be back!

Wonder is wonderful. We're so lucky to have this place in Palm Desert. It's a super cute, independent restaurant operated by a family who moved to the desert from Portland, OR. The menu has a nice, surprisingly varied, number of dishes. Many of both breakfast and lunch options. There's eggs, a burrito, checken sandwich, burger, salads, and more. I've had the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito several times. They also bake some beautiful and creative donuts. Note for the BNP tennis and Coachella crowds: The secret is out. This place gets VERY busy during those events. But if you're here in the other times of the season you shouldn't have to worry about it being too busy. Anyway, this place is worth a try next time you're in Palm Desert driving by on the 111.
